Overview
The Bridge Connector “no-code” healthcare integration platform puts a stop to painful and expensive healthcare interoperability projects. I designed multiple products powered by the system.
Role
Discovering
I joined Bridge Connector in February of 2019 as the first full time UX designer. When I joined, I helped Bridge establish a unified product vision the executive leadership could get behind. I did this by facilitating a week long Google Ventures design sprint.
Defining
I gathered key stakeholders and uncovered deep knowledge from subject matter experts. I asked questions to help the team understand who our users were. I mapped out end-to-end journeys for each persona, from the discovery of Bridge Connector to the creation of their first integration.
Developing
At the end of the week, I produced a high-fidelity clickable prototype to demonstrate how out platform would look and function. Once the executive team validated my decisions, I helped VPs and product managers delegate the work to engineering teams.
Delivering
I wrote user stories and technical documentation and communicated desired UX interactions to engineers. My prototype (and its subsequent iterations) became the means for leading the product and engineering team toward a shippable product.
My previous software development experience enabled me to quickly understand our customers complex needs. Through thorough investigation and careful listening, my team and I were able to synthesize a product with proven demonstrable value.
