As a product designer, I help companies make products people love to use. In my free time, I enjoy using emerging software and hardware to explore novel immersive experiences.
Experience
I am passionate about creating systems that make a positive impact on people's lives. I crave chances to weave my computer science and psychology interests into a human-centric product design strategy.
I put a premium on research and tight feedback loops from real customers and users. With several years experience in facilitating discovery sessions, I am able to help groups drive ideal outcomes to while reducing risk with high quality insights.
With 15 years of visual design experience and 5+ years in B2B SaaS, I'm uniquely qualified to enhance the user experience of any digital product, interface, or service interaction. If you'd like, you can view my resume on my LinkedIn profile or download a copy here.
Outside of tech, I enjoy spending time with my family, making music, cooking, container gardening, and hiking/camping.
Location
My home base is currently in beautiful Bowling Green, KY.
For most of my career, (long before Covid) remote work has been the norm. In recent years, I've found myself joining brainstorming sessions or leading a design workshop in person, but most of my work is completed in relative isolation.
Communication typically occurs in an asynchronous fashion, but often I will participate on regular check-in calls and team rituals via Zoom.
Though much of my work has been in the Nashville market, I have worked for companies with globally distributed teams for several years.
Tools
Like any modern knowledge worker, I frequently use an array of web, desktop, and mobile applications to connect with my team and build great products. Below is a list of those tools:
